Begin in neutral posture for standing position. Keep hips, knees and ankles in alignment when leaning forward, taking care to preserve the lumbar curve of the back and not allowing any portion of the back to round downward or forward. Achieve 90 degrees at the hips, hold, then gently return to standing position, preserving same form on the way up.
